As the 4th most congested city in the U.S., drivers lose an average of 79 hours and $1,414 annually due to traffic delays (INRIX, 2024). This affects not only mobility and productivity but also overall quality of life.
Public transit in Boston also faces challenges, with only 24% of residents consider it reliable. This highlights persistent issues with accessibility and trust in the system.
Our project is focused on creating more sustainable, efficient, and equitable transportation in Boston, to address environmental impacts, reduce congestion, and improve access across communities.
